2006 Wild Peacock

This is a cake that Kathy found recently in south China. It was pressed in 2006 from old wild trees from QianJiaZhai by a small tea company.

In this price range, it's really exceptional - thick in the mouth, smooth and full bodied with very strong qi. The storage has also been very clean & it has aged well.

There's two versions of this tea - one appears to be stone pressed, one machine pressed. Both were pressed from the same material. They're mixed up, so which one you get is luck of the draw.

Don't be fooled by the low price - this can easily rival teas costing many times the price.

A well aged, (I think) rather wet stored and easy to drink Pu'erh with a very low price tag on it: A perfect daily drinker!
